Why I recommend it

I find this book fascinating. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys thinking beyond the photograph: beyond the stars we can see, towards the questions they leave us with. For me, that curiosity belongs here alongside my images of the night sky.

The book in brief

Krauss explores unresolved questions about time, space, matter, life, and consciousness. From cosmic origins and black holes to life’s beginnings and the mind, the book presents science as an ongoing investigation, with much still to discover.

A question to take outside

When I look at a nebula or a distant galaxy, what am I actually learning from its light—and what remains beyond the image? That is the kind of question I want this journal to keep open.

The photograph is a beginning. The questions take us further.
